Chavez Influence Growing by Christopher Bollyn

The economic reforms and nationalist policies being advanced by Hugo Chavez, the populist president of Venezuela, are liberating Latin American nations from the suffocating grip of the international financial oligarchy.

Unbelievable, simply unbelievable. It is amazing how history is repeating itself, so soon in regards to U.S. foreign policy, especailly in our inept response to the sociaLIST, ney, COMMUNIST regime that our jokers and fools in D.C. has allowed no grow in Venezuela. As in the sixtys, instead of putting our efforts into controlling the situation in our own area of influence, fedgov has put Billions of dollars and worst, young American lives into a debacle completly around the world in a confused, misguided attempt to change a People who want nothing to do with our way of life. the war now, as in Vietnam will do nothing for the average citizen there. Ten years from now, they will be no better off and the reputation of America will always be tarnished for generations to come. That is however, the least of our concerns. We now have another 'Castro' to deal with, and as with Fidel, we will bungle along and instead of snapping him off now, eventually will be confronted by Chavez when we least expect it or can afford it. Unbelievable, simply unbelievable.
