U.S. cannot solve Iraq problem without Iran

Political analyst Sadegh Zibakalam noted on Wednesday that the problems the Unites States is facing in Iraq will not be resolved without the help of Iran.

Zibakalam was commenting on statements released Monday by U.S. State Department spokesman Sean McCormack that U.S. Ambassador to Baghdad Zalmay Khalilzad had received explicit permission from U.S. President George W. Bush to hold talks with Tehran on the insurgency in Iraq.
