Top-level North Korean Spy Smuggled Out by Lee Wha Rang

Few people know that it was Lee who had persuaded Hwang Jang-yup, North Korea's "father of Jucheism" and onetime No 2 man under Kim Il Sung, to defect to Seoul. Kim’s strategy is to turn North Korea's elite against Kim Jong Il – indeed turn Kim's own family and relatives against him. So far, Hwang Jang-yup is Lee's biggest catch.
