It appears that an alliance, if only economically, between India and China could weaken the United State's role as the world superpower. What actions will the U.S. choose to take regarding rivals; will we strengthen our ties in the east in attempt to gain favor of would-be new world powers, or do we oppose Chinese and Indian growth in order to assert our dominance?
